Astronomer- people who study the planets, stars, and sky.
1. Egyptian women had many rights. They had most rights men had. For example, women could own businesses and property. They could have a variety of jobs.
2. The Rosetta Stone helped archaeologists and people learn more about the Egyptians and their lives.
3. Many scientists back then discovered that the Nile was rapid when people could see Sirius, a star. They found the average of the appearance of Sirius, and it was 365 days. So they made the year 365 days long.
4. Their work on mummies most likely made them easily know about the body, letting them perform surgery, and treating injuries. Egyptians knew what herbs to use for aches also.
